49. Nicholas Blake
Nicholas Blake was an infant at the date of his father's death in 1503. An award was made July 6, 1542 (34 Henry VIII.), by Patrick Barnewall, Serjeant-at-Law, between this Nicholas and his kinsman Richard Blake, son of Geoffrey (see Blake of Kiltolla), to settle disputes between them as to the division of lands inherited from Henry Blake senior.

His will (dated 12 May 1612) was probated on 2 May 1616 at Tuam, County Galway, Ireland. Robert Blake was granted by patent Ballinacourt, (later Wallscourt), of Ardfry in County Galway, and of lands in Mayo on 12 May 1612. He lived at Ardfry, Ballynacourt, County Galway, Ireland.
